## What Flixio is

Flixio is a search engine and index for free, publicly available video content hosted on third-party platforms (primarily YouTube). Flixio does NOT host, upload, transcode, store, or modify any video. Flixio is NOT affiliated with YouTube, Google, or any of the content creators indexed on the site. All video playback is handled by YouTube directly when the user clicks play.

Each section is available in 7 languages. The English version is the default (no language prefix); other languages use a 2-letter prefix in the URL path:

## Movie URL pattern

Every movie and series has a permanent URL of the form:

- [Series: /{lang}/series/{id}/{slug}/](https://flixio.app/series/35/larva-s1/) — e.g. Larva (Season 1)

These URLs never expose the underlying YouTube video ID. The mapping is resolved server-side only.
